Frozen Flow

A series of ceramic sculptures, using gloop glaze as a continuation of a material based exploration. A pattern is created on the clay object, and then recreated in gloop glaze. During the firing, the glaze runs and the pattern is distorted. The result is both inviting and melancholy, and evokes thoughts of time and transience.
